GMC has welcomed its largest-ever Geelong cohort, with 60 local students joining the 2026 Geelong Future Leaders of Industry (GFLOI), Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing (GLAM) and World of Work – Clean Economy (WoW) programs.
The official launch in late May saw a packed room at The Gordon, where students and parents heard inspiring career journeys from young manufacturing professionals including Claudia Blain (SNF Australia), Nick White (Ford Motor Company) and Michelle Rosevear (IXL Home). The event also highlighted the breadth of vibrant and diverse career opportunities available across Geelong’s manufacturing sector.
Over the next six months, participants will engage directly with industry through site visits, connect with both emerging and established leaders, and build their own leadership capabilities.
