A huge thank you to GMC members Modularity by Rendine, Thornton Engineering, and Cobram Estate Olives for hosting site visits for our teachers tour last week, as well as Skilling the Bay and the GRLLEN.
Teachers got a first-hand look at theese leading manufacturers to understand the work they do and the variety of exciting careers available to students through manufacturing and STEM careers.
GMC’s 2026 manufacturing careers awareness programs for schools – Geelong Future Leaders of Industry (GFLOI), Girls Leading Advanced Manufacturing (GLAM) and World of Work Clean Economy (WoW) commence in March.
These programs are proudly delivered by GMC, in partnership with Skilling the Bay and supported by the Victorian Government.
If you know someone at school in Geelong, years 9-11 in 2026, encourage them to apply here or contact GMC for further information.
