GMC was proud to partner with the City of Greater Geelong to host an Exports Forum last week to support our region’s manufacturers.
As part of the Forum we launched a new Food and Agribusiness Network, in partnership with the City, to capitalise on the growth potential of our region’s food and agribusiness manufacturers as well as to connect emerging manufacturers with experienced and successful operators.
The Forum attracted manufacturers of all sizes to hear expert presentations, including from GMC members:
Farm Foods – highlighting their growth story, exports and organisational strategy
McHugh & Eastwood – best practice and pitfalls in logistics and freight forwarding, and
Gallagher – foreign exchange risks and protecting your assets.
The jam-packed Forum also featured workshops on facilitation and negotiation as well as a presentation by CSIRO on food innovation and networks.
