Applications now open for Ballarat Seed2STEM 2024 Program

November 2, 2023

Program Overview

The Seed2STEM program, funded by the Federal Government, aims to cultivate awareness of STEM careers opportunities and provide mentoring opportunities for young women in manufacturing. The program spans two years (2024 and 2025) and comprises a STEM careers awareness immersion program for Year 9 and 10 girls and a 9-month structured mentoring program for women in the manufacturing or engineering sector.

Key Objectives

The primary objective of the girls’ industry immersion program is to inspire more girls to pursue STEM subjects, fostering a future where young women contribute as leaders in manufacturing. This is achieved through a series of half-day industry tours hosted by our partner companies.
