GMC members are invited to express their interest to participate as ‘Geelong Industry Partners’ in an invitation only City of Greater Geelong / Geelong Defence Alliance exhibition opportunity at the 2023 Avalon Airshow, from Tuesday 28 February – Friday 3 March 2023.
Avalon 2023 is a unique opportunity to showcase products, technologies and services to an informed target audience. In 2019, more than 38,952 people representing 37 countries attended the exclusive industry-only trade space over three days. This is a valuable opportunity for decision-makers to be informed and for exhibitors to connect with their customers.
Only a limited number of pods are available for the 2023 event, and we are seeking expressions of interest only at this stage.
The cost to attend as a Geelong industry partner will be in the vicinity of $2,000 + GST. This is a great opportunity for a low cost but high-profile presence at one of Australia’s key defence tradeshows.
Participating as a Geelong industry partner will enable your business to:
- Increase your brand/profile at the largest defence industry event in Australia
- Promote your capability, products, services and unique offering
- Network with other businesses who are working in the defence industry
- Make connections with key decision makers in the defence supply chain
- Be recognised as part of the Geelong Defence Alliance.
Responsibilities
The expectations and responsibilities of each appointed industry partner are outlined below:
- Provide artwork for the company’s artwork panel display by the required deadline in the format specified (template will be provided)
- Ensure a company representative is present to setup your pod display/check AV connections/layout marketing collateral during the specified time on Monday 27 February 2023
- Ensure a company representative is present at all times on the GDA stand each day of the trade show (Tuesday 28 February – Friday 3 March 2023) during exhibition hours
- Attend an industry partner briefing session on Tuesday 7 February 2023, at Wurriki Nyal, Geelong
- Adhere to all Rules and Regulations outlined by Avalon 2023 Event Organisers.
Disclaimers
- Companies who are participating on or as part of any other exhibition space at Avalon 2023 are not eligible to participate on the GDA stand
- Companies are responsible for the arrangement of any additional items that they wish to have on display. These display items must be approved by GDA and must fit on top of the pod benchtop space (e.g. product samples)
- GDA has the right to refuse participation by a company.
- Further information will be provided once the expressions of interest have been received and accepted.
