Australia’s fasted growing Prime and GMC Industry Sponsor, Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA), will brief industry at an upcoming forum.
The company has been selected as the sole tender for Land 8116, a $2 billion project which will see the Australian government acquire self-propelled artillery to be manufactured at a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facility in Geelong.
HDA is a subsidiary of Hanwha Corporation, the largest and the most influential defence corporation in South Korea.
HDA will serve as an Australian industrial and SME base that creates opportunities for both Australian and Korean companies in their respective supply chains.
The industry briefing will outline HDA’s upcoming activities and plans, including an update on what opportunities are available on the Land 8116 program and how to apply for work packages through HDA’s Industry Portal
