GMC Major Sponsor, Deakin University is focused on educating job-ready engineers while giving businesses opportunities to promote themselves as employers of choice through participation in the university’s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.
To help engineer-hiring businesses better understand WIL, show students the variety of local career pathways ahead of them, and connect with students and key staff, Deakin’s School of Engineering & Built Environment is holding a Work Integrated Learning Careers Expo at the Waterfront campus.
The event will commence with a short overview of work integrated learning opportunities at Deakin, which includes internships, case studies to support teaching, student research projects and much more. This will be followed by the main expo with industries directly networking with students and discussing careers, internship and job opportunities.
