New training and resources for food and agribusiness sector

March 2, 2026

GMC’s Food and Agribusiness Cluster – established by GMC and expanded in partnership with the City of Greater Geelong – continues to grow as a trusted network for knowledge sharing, collaboration and problem‑solving across the region’s food and beverage sector.

Our newly established GFAN extends this work by offering an annual program of additional training, resources and national industry connections.

We’re thrilled to be one of only three alliance partners nationally to date, joining Australia’s Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA) to access their expertise, training and online resources and provide new opportunities for growth and innovation among our region’s food and agribusiness manufacturers.

Through GFAN, participating businesses gain access to:

  • Specialised training workshop and online learning resources
  • Analytics tools including the FaBA innovation dashboard with 40+ global datasets
  • GMC’s extensive industry network, tours, briefings and knowledge sharing with leading manufacturers

Contact GMC if you’d like to know more about GFAN and our alliance partnership with FaBA.
