Australia’s relationship with Indonesia has been headline news this week with the signing of a new international security treaty.

And to cap it off, GMC member Avalon Airport shared big news this week announcing that international flights are back in 2026 with direct flights from Avalon to Bali.
From March next year, Jetstar will be flying to Bali five times per week from Avalon as well as increased domestic flights, including a new Adelaide route, extra flights to Brisbane, and the first public bus service to the airport connecting to and from Lara Station.
