GMC Major partner Hanwha Defence Australia shared supply chain opportunities this week at an industry meeting in Geelong.
HDA Industry lead, Kevin Foard, encouraged Geelong companies to register on BenchOn, Hanwha’s industry supplier portal.
Mr Foard was presenting at a Geelong showcase and briefing, hosted by the Industry Capability Network at City of Greater Geelong’s Wurriki Nyal Civic Centre. Mayor Cr Stretch Kontelj welcomed attendees with an inspirational overview of Geelong opportunities.
From advanced manufacturing to energy transmission and defence to infrastructure, the message was clear: Geelong is front and centre in Australia’s growth story.
A large crowd representing manufacturing, engineering and trade industries also heard about major advanced manufacturing and infrastructure projects and the supply chain opportunities available for local businesses.
