Training courses are fully subsidised and valued at up to $5,000 each. Training is delivered online by leading training providers, on part-time basis over 12 weeks. This allows staff to continue to work while studying.

Commencing 1st March‘24 is a new course for leaders, senior managers, and decisions makers.

De-mystifying Industry 4.0 / Digital Manufacturing

Since 2019, working with manufacturing business leaders, this course has evolved from a nation first Industry 4.0 Digital Readiness and Transformation Program sponsored by the DJSIR/Victorian Government – developed, created, and delivered by a mix of industry experienced manufacturing professionals, industry experienced academics and industry/technology partners, for the manufacturing industry.

This course takes a holistic approach and aims to lay the foundations towards understanding, and dispelling misconceptions, of various Industry 4.0/ digital technologies (Additive Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence, Augmented & Virtual Reality, Data Analysis, Cloud computing, Cybersecurity etc), the associated concepts and benefits, applications, and approach to adoption. Participants learn about Industry 4.0 and how it is transforming manufacturing and can expect to get hands-on with various technologies to get an appreciation of their usage (during the optional in-person sessions).
