Join us for the first GMC Connect event for 2025 on Tuesday 4 February!
As this event we’re also launching a new 3-part event series, Lessons from Leaders. These special presentations will offer members the chance to gain expert industry knowledge on a range of topics designed to support their business.
First-up, renowned manufacturing leader, Jamie Baensch will share his experience successfully implementing strategy in manufacturing.
Jamie’s extensive career has seen him oversee manufacturing operations in Australia, China and Thailand, including most recently as GM of Air Radiators. As a manufacturing leader, Jamie has held a host of board and advisory positions across industry and engineering, including GMC Chair and Deakin University’s Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation.
We’ll also hear from AME President Rebecca Michalik. Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience supporting organisational transformation. She has expertise working with leaders to understand and improve their impact on culture, enabling sustainable, people-centric outcomes for organisations. Rebecca has worked in senior management roles in the food industry and, most recently, as a director of Niwaki. This role has included working internationally on enterprise-wide transformation in various industries, including manufacturing, retail apparel design and supply chain, education, warehousing, and food processing.
